Hur väl man än tror att man är förberedd, hur noggrant man än antecknade då nazisternas grymheter behandlades under historietimmarna i skolan så blir man ändå fullständigt däckad av den emotionella överdosen sedan när man på riktigt är där.
Det första dödslägret
Nazisternas koncentrations- och förintelseläger var fler till antalet än jag kan räkna, men Dachau var speciellt i och med att det var det första och det som var i bruk längst, från 1933 till 1945.
KZ (KZ = konzentrationslager) Dachau kunde inte mäta sig med den stora dödsfabriken Auschwitz när det kommer till antalet mördade och torterade människor, men det fungerade som en viktig prototyp för Auschwitz och de andra stora dödslägren.
